At eTutor.info, student satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that online learning is a personal experience, and not every teaching method may suit every learner. This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which students may request a refund for their tutoring sessions.
1. Refund Eligibility
Students are eligible for a full refund if they submit a valid refund request within 7 (seven) days of their first session or subscription activation date. Refunds may be requested for any of the following reasons:
- The teaching method or style of the tutor does not match the student’s learning preference
- The student is unable to understand or follow the tutor’s instructional approach
- Technical issues that significantly disrupted the learning experience
- The course or session content was misrepresented at the time of purchase
- Any other reasonable concern raised by the student within the refund window
We believe in a no-questions-asked refund within the 7-day window, and we will review all requests fairly and promptly.
2. Refund Request Window
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days from:
- The date of your first live tutoring session, OR
- The date of your subscription/package activation — whichever comes first
Requests submitted after the 7-day window will not be eligible for a refund, except in exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of eTutor.info management.
3. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund, please follow these steps:
- Email us at admin@etutor.info with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Your Name]”
- Include your registered email address, order/booking reference number, and reason for the refund
- Our support team will acknowledge your request within 24 hours (business days)
- Upon verification, the refund will be processed within 5–10 business days
4. Refund Processing
Once your refund request has been reviewed and approved:
- The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
- Processing time is typically 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated
Please note: eTutor.info is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or financial institutions.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
- The refund request is submitted after the 7-day window has elapsed
- The student has completed more than 2 tutoring sessions under the same package
- The student has downloaded or accessed all course materials/resources in full
- The account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of eTutor.info’s Terms of Service
- Promotional, discounted, or free-trial packages (unless explicitly stated otherwise)
6. Partial Refunds
In cases where the refund window has passed but exceptional circumstances exist, eTutor.info may, at its discretion, offer a partial refund or credit towards future sessions. Such cases will be evaluated individually by our support team.
7. Tutor Replacement Option
Before requesting a refund, we encourage students to consider requesting a tutor replacement. If you are dissatisfied with your current tutor’s teaching method or communication style, we will try our best to match you with a more suitable tutor at no additional charge.
